IMPLANTS

CHEW AND SMILE AGAIN WITHOUT WORRIES

Dental implants are the best option for the replacement of missing teeth, enhancing your smile, boosting your confidence and improving your oral health. Over the years, dental implant technology has evolved and become a state-of-the-art procedure due to advancements in technology, materials and techniques. These changes have made dental implants more affordable, allowing more and more patients to benefit from it.

Dental Implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth, an arch of teeth or for the securing of dentures. Implants look and act like a natural tooth and help to restore your oral functions such as chewing and speaking while preventing bone loss and facial sagging.

The success rate for dental implants is 98%. With proper care, good dental hygiene and a healthy lifestyle, it is a lifetime solution, making them one of the most successful procedures available in dentistry today.

Dental implants are a great option for most healthy patients. Exceptions to this rule are patients who are long-time heavy smokers, patients suffering with uncontrolled diabetes and those who have undergone treatment with bisphosphonates.

If you want to know if you are a candidate for dental implants, book an appointment with our team to find out the precise options for restoring your teeth.

How is the dental implant procedure?

By The Lake Dental performs dental implants by surgically placing a titanium post in the jawbone. After the implant is placed, the bone and gum will grow around the implant, holding it firmly in place.

An artificial tooth (crown) will be attached to the implant once the bone and gum have integrated to the implant. The end result is a strong, secure tooth that is virtually indistinguishable from a natural tooth.

"I visited this Dental Office for a broken molar. The visit was amazing. The work was very well-done, painless, and fast! They really spoke to me gently, and were very understanding about my tooth. It was all fixed up, and wow! What a great result. I am smiling again!"
